July 10-15 | ShoalhavenSoul Revival Week Away 2026
What to expect
Week Away is for all ages and has always been a time of fun and refreshment; intentionally building closer friendships as we spend a week together while getting to know our God better through his word, the Bible.
We are in the heart of the Shoalhaven, where we are surrounded by 262 acres of green pastures, untouched native bushland and the Shoalhaven River. It doesn’t get much better!
❋ Open the WordWe hear from God’s word every morning
❋ Fun Kids ProgramDuring the morning sessions, the kids hang out in an awesome kids program
❋ Heaps of free timeIt’s a holiday, so each afternoon is free time so you can chose to do whatever if you like.
❋ Growing as friendsWhether it is over a meal, over a board game, a game of golf or a coffee at Berry, Week Away is all about building closer friendships and there are plenty of ways to do it.
Our 2026 Week Away Speaker
Dave Jensen
We’re delighted to welcome Dave Jensen as our guest speaker for Week Away for 2026.
Dave will be with us across the week, opening the book of Matthew as we explore the theme “Life on Purpose.”
Dave serves as Assistant Director with Evangelism & New Churches (ENC), with a specific focus on evangelism. ENC is the Sydney Anglican ministry focused on supporting churches to reach more people with the gospel. Soul Revival Church was planted with the support of ENC back in 2012.
Dave brings a deep love for the gospel, a heart for the local church, and a gift for communicating biblical truth with clarity and warmth.
He lives in the Central Coast with his wife Sammy and their children.
We’re very thankful Dave is able to join us and look forward to being shaped and encouraged through his teaching.

What we get up to at Week Away
Week Away goes from Friday dinner to Wednesday - morning tea.
There are 6 talks. The first talk is on Friday night. Saturday to Wednesday mornings are spent in singing to God, learning about God in the main talk and in small discussion groups.
After that the rest of the day is free time. Some people just rest, read, or go for a walk. Others paint, organise a dance class, or go to Berry for coffee, while others have a game of golf or a chilly surf.
We’re on holidays together – and in the beautiful Shoalhaven – so there are lots of options.
The Tuesday night is our annual dress up night dinner. This year it is SPACE.
Health and Safety protocols to help us stay healthy will be in place during Week Away. Please, if you are feeling unwell with anything that may infect others, please don’t attend Week Away until you are feeling better. If you become sick during Week Away we ask that you depart Week Away until you have recovered. Hand sanitisers are made available while at Week Away.

Day Away at Week Away
If you can only come to Week Away for one day, why don't you come on the Sunday and enjoy our special Sunday - Day Away at Week Away.
To accommodate Day Away, our Sunday session will start a little later than the other days - at 10am, giving everyone plenty of time to get down.
After the Sunday talk, there will be a short morning tea and then Discussion Groups. After that there will be lunch and then around 3pm afternoon tea.
You will still need to register for Day Away at Week Away and you can do this through the rego form.
The cost of Day Away is $60. This includes lunch, morning and afternoon tea and the use of the facilities.
What’s On
Week Away has plenty happening, with a range of optional activities to enjoy across the week. Jump in as much or as little as you like.
There’ll be favourites like Trivia Night and of course the famous Saturday afternoon Soirée – always a highlight and not to be missed. You never know, Bingo, featuring First Officer Stacey might even make a comeback.
If organised activities aren’t your thing, you can absolutely make your own fun. Head into Berry for coffee, enjoy a round of golf, go for a scenic drive, or simply relax and explore. There’s plenty to do in and around the Shoalhaven, whatever pace you’re after.
Week Away 26 Merch
Week Away merch will be available again this year, including hoodies – perfect for cool mornings, late‑night chats and everything in between.
All merch can be purchased through the Soulies Shop, so feel free to take a look and grab something ahead of time . It’s a great way to remember the week and be cosy while you do it.
Week Away merchandise will be available soon. Further details will be communicated via the newsletter.
Kids and Week Away
Kids love Week Away!
If you are coming along with kids here are some things for you to know.
Week Away runs a fantastic kids program that operates during the morning session, giving kids a fun, safe and engaging space while the main sessions are on.
Once the morning session finishes and small group time begins, there is no kids program running, so parents should plan for kids to be with them at that point.
Kids love bringing scooters to Week Away, which is always a highlight. If your child is bringing a scooter, please make sure they also bring (and wear) a helmet.
Kids shirts will be available again this year. The subsidised cost is $30. If it is a stretch this year for you, there will be an option for “shirt no pay” in the registration form. If you’re able to contribute, there will be an option to do so when you register.

Other Important Stuff
Due to the popularity of Week Away, unfortunately, we may not be able to accommodate everyone at their preferred site.
Week Away's main campus is at the Waterslea site which is where the talks and most meals take place, however like many other Christian camps including Katoomba Christian Convention, accommodation options are spread beyond the main site.
Onsite accommodation is available at Youthworks Waterslea, Youthworks Koloona & Youthworks Riverview. Preference for the Waterslea site is given to those with young children or who have mobility needs AND are staying for the week. Due to the short supply of rooms, married couples without pre-school/school aged children are unlikely to be allocated a room together and may be split into “guys” and “girls” rooms. For those wishing to stay offsite, please arrange your own AirBNBs or motel rooms independently. Day Rates are outlined above.
Once Week Away is sold out, you will be placed on a waiting lists and will be notified should there be an opening.
Accommodation is a little bit of a juggle and the organisers (who are volunteers) appreciate your grace and understanding with this.
Your room/bed will not be confirmed until payment in full is received. If payment is not received within TWO WEEKS of the confirmation email being sent, your bed/room may be cancelled so we can make available rooms to those on the wait list.
If you register after 1st June, no part-days will be offered.
The prices are final regardless of whether you are able to make all meals or stay for all your registered nights accommodation.
Youthworks endeavor to accommodate special dietary requests and most of these are provided as part of the standard cost. Youthworks have advised that campers are not permitted to speak directly with the Youthworks chef. Instead in the first instance we are to communicate the requirements through the registration form. Youthworks cannot guarantee that there will not be "traces" in their catering. For Youthworks catering policy please contact Louise Crawshaw who will send you a copy.
