Light, Relationship, and Life with God
Week 2 (January 5–11, 2026)
Devotion
⚪ WHITE
This week we move to the white colour, which represents light.
Adam and Eve were created to live in the light of God’s presence, seeing Him, walking with Him, and enjoying friendship with him face to face. There was no shame, no fear, and no distance between God and his people. White reminds us that human beings were made for relationship with God, designed to know him, trust his good rule, and find joy in his presence.
White represents light. Adam and Eve were created in God’s image and lived face to face with God, walking with him in the light of his presence without shame or fear. They had everything they needed and enjoyed friendship with their Creator.
God gave them one command: not to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, inviting them to trust his loving rule. White reminds us that humanity was made for relationship, obedience, and joy with God.
