Jesus and the Cross
Week 4 (Jan 19–25, 2026)
Devotion
🔴 RED
The red colour brings us to the heart of the Christian message. Jesus is the promised serpent crusher who stepped into the darkness for us. He revealed God’s authority, taught us what God is like, and laid down his life on the cross so that sinners could be forgiven and brought back to God. He has atoned for our sins and reconciled us to God and each other.
Red points us to Jesus — the promised serpent crusher. Jesus entered the darkness, showed God’s authority, revealed God’s character, and laid down his life on the cross so that sinners could be forgiven.
