A Saturday Night Gig
Late Night is inviting the whole church, on November 15 to join us for a gig. Our friends from the south coast, SeraphMusic, are bringing the party. It would be awesome to see you
Seraph will be joined by a home grown opener, Liethaus (Brad Bussing and Jamie Ashton).
$15 at the door to support this new band.
I – Ethan – don’t have a musical bone in my body. I bought a bass guitar during lockdown, only to realise that I have no rhythm… or patience to practice enough to find some. If you’ve seen me out-and-about I almost always have some headphones on, blasting music (to the detriment of future Ethan’s ears). I listen to a lot of Christian music and often wish that there were even more. I, and many others, massively benefit from other Christians who use their gifts in music (and patience) for the glory of God. Wouldn’t it be awesome if Christians in Sydney were pumping out more music? The staff and the Late Night team chat about this regularly.
If you’re anything like me, there’s not much we CAN do. But, we can support those who are trying to produce these tunes. This is part of the reason we host gigs. We wanna give Christians a space to play their music and share it with us. This is also part of the reason we charge at the door. We wanna be a part of helping Christian music grow by giving creators more space to be creative.
We are a church among churches, and it is so great that we can support musos outside our community. Hosting gigs like this will hopefully stoke the creativity of those at Soul Revival. That’s why we’ve got our homegrown opening act. To show the community that it’s totally possible and totally fun.
It would be unreal to see everyone who can make it at this gig with Late Night and Seraph Music to support this band of legends.
